 The CB Team is proud to announce the release of its first Joomla / CB Template combination, named MyCommunity. This light, lean, tableless design, inspired by the popular facebook look, will make your website super efficient in terms of loading time, size and cleanness. MyCommunity is offered commercially at 20 € and can be purchased and downloaded from Joomlapolis.
Before you rush to grab your copy, let’s take a closer look at what is actually offered.
The package contains a Joomla 1.0 template, a Joomla 1.5 template, a CB 1.2 Template Plugin, the new CB Content module, detailed documentation for Joomla 1.0 and Joomla 1.5 environments and the license agreement.
The Joomla templates are installed just like any other template on your website. The clean design and light fully CSS implementation makes your Joomla site super fast and efficient. The actual Joomla template package is only 39K in size! We have fully configured 2 template demo sites so you can see the entire package in action. MyCommunity on a CB 1.2 powered Joomla 1.0.15 website can be seen here and MyCommunity on a CB 1.2 powered Joomla 1.5.9 website here. We have also added Typography pages to these demo sites here and here. |

 If you've read anything at all about Content Management Systems (CMS), you'll probably know at least three things: CMS are the most exciting way to do business, CMS can be really, I mean really, complicated and lastly Portals are absolutely, outrageously, often unaffordably expensive.
Joomla! is set to change all that ... Joomla! is different from the normal models for portal software. For a start, it's not complicated. Joomla! has been developed for the masses. It's licensed under the GNU/GPL license, easy to install and administer and reliable. Joomla! doesn't even require the user or administrator of the system to know HTML to operate it once it's up and running. |
